Individual Values, or IVs, are inherent to the Pokémon, and affect its stats.

A Pokémon's IVs are determined when it is found in the wild, bought from the Casino or acquired from a Pokémon Box or similar items.

IVs range from 0 to 31. A shiny Pokémon's IVs range from 20 to 31 instead, even if re-randomized using an IV Reset.

Checking a Pokémon's Individual Values

To check your Pokémon's Individual Values, open the Pokémon's Summary and check the yellow number corresponding to each stat.

Changing Individual Values

The ability to change a Pokémon's IVs is custom to Pokemon Planet and is only possible by using an IV Reset on it, which will re-randomize the Pokémon's Individual Values.

Impact on Stats

IVs boost stats according to the following formula:

Bonus Stats = \Biggl\lfloor {IV \times Level \over 100} \Biggr\rfloor

At level 100, every IV equals 1 bonus stat point. This means that Pokémon can get a maximum of 31 bonus points per stat due to IVs.

Hidden Power

A Pokémons IVs determine the Type of the move Hidden Power, which can be any Type except Normal and Fairy.
