Ecruteak City is an old-fashioned city located in northern Johto, situated in the woods between tall Mt. Mortar and the open fields near Johto's western shores.
As with many of the larger cities in the Pokémon world, Ecruteak has a Pokémon Gym, led by Morty, who specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon and hands out the Fog Badge to those who defeat him.
Do grind at route 37 the common Pokemon is Pidgeot at Lv 48++ so it was pretty easy one hit killed with any Electric Types at Lv 50+ or so, Vulpix and Growlithe is an Very Rare in this area so quite decent to search since they drops Fire Stones.
